Have I made it?

Kept losing your page, and ran out of alternatives for user name, blog address etc as your memory stored and rejected them.    I did post, but as I wasn't blogged I imagine that was also rejected.   Just as well, as I made a couple of mistakes in my confusion.   (Anglophile for Americanophile, e.g. -- my slip was showing).
Wanted to say I thought This Land one of the best things I've found over several years on the Net.    And that it was very sustaining to an Americanophile Brit in these difficult times.    (During The War, a US friend was going OTT for Tony Blair.   I said he could have him, and the BBC as well.    He said OK to Blair, big No to the Beeb).
I've posted widely.   Thought about posting to another friend, in Tehran, but decided life was tricky enough for him as things stood.
I'll start getting hopeful about Irak when you open up your Baghdad branch.
